Last Thursday, Mario Fairlie and I took the trailer to Pimpama State Primary College to pick up an almost full trailer load of kid's bikes, which over a long time were forgotten, left behind, unclaimed... Many of them are in pristine condition, and thus suitable for refurbishment and subsequent donation to disadvantaged children, via organisations such as St John's Crisis Centre. We took them back to the project shed, for our volunteers to check them out. Hopefully, we'll be able to take some of them to St John's before Christmas, to help brighten up some children's eyes!
